The CYL table lamp is a unique piece born from the collaboration between QDB Editions and designer Théo Charasse. This model is composed of glass cylinders made from beer bottles, stacked and held together by plexiglass spacers. Minimalist and seamless, it celebrates the material itself.
Equipped with an LED tube, the table lamp emits a dimmable 2700k light.

The collaboration
It all started with the glass bottle: crafted into objects by QDB Editions, and sketched into light fixtures by Théo Charasse. Both committed to creating beauty from what is taken for granted, the brand and the designer have signed CYL, a collection of light fixtures.
In the workshop, the duo's initial intentions give way to experimentation. They cut the bottle into cylinders, stack them, and confront the material's inherent limitations in order to overcome them. The energy is palpable; reinterpreting glass to better elevate it is what sparked the collaboration between QDB Editions and Théo Charasse.
French manufacturer
The QDB Editions workshop is located in Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, in northern France. There, glass artisans perpetuate the art of glassmaking, shaping, cutting, drilling, sandblasting, and assembling the material with precision. Our manufacturing expertise allows us to centralize all production; we maintain controlled inventory and eliminate the need for transport between factories.
